Development in Nested Environments Lab
The Development in Nested Environments (DEVINE) Lab follows the Bioecological model and considers development within the context of our families, neighborhoods, and communities, and larger environments. One focus of the DEVINE Lab is technology use. How do families make decisions about what devices family members are allowed to have as their own or shared and what rules families make for technology use within their home? How can technology facilitate healthy development? How does technology impair healthy development? How can we help individuals, families, and communities make more informed choices about technology use?
